I was a pen friendship kind of a guy. I grew up in those times, when people wrote to each other detailing about their lives and culture. When people used to roleplay their favourite characters in Yahoo Messenger chatrooms. How hard is it to go to a middle class pub and discuss philosophy, literature and pop culture over a beer. From what I have seen, it's very difficult. What is possible though is roaming around in cars doing booze and drugs as the staple for fun for guys in Delhi NCR is. Or going to pubs for alcohol and sex. Simple life where people could sit quietly and discuss their interests doesn't exist anymore. And that tells you a lot about the state of freedom in this country. My trouble began when I tried to find people of my kind in fact a lot of suffering in my life could be attributed to me trying to find my kind of people. They exist but they exist quietly and within themselves, as I do now. Freedom matters zilch when it is only available to those who deliver it as rations to others while misusing it themsleves. I see countries like US, and I see class, I see a kind of dark humour that is not pathetic. That is one thing that is missing in those who control this country, class. Incompetence and entitlement go hand in hand here. Though it doesn't matter in the long run, as all of us are slaves. People are being force fed false narratives day and night from every avenue and people are making delusional opinions based on them. It's funny to see media lying all the time. I miss the times when Doordarshan and AIR delivered standard national narrative and there was just one narrative even if it was propaganda, and it was delivered with class. Deluding people by any means possible, is kind of the new motto of this country since the advent of the internet when internet could be used to seek factual knowledge and truth. Most people like me are busy in survival so they can't really give less of a fuck about what has been going on, but it is going on and shit is going to get worse than it already is, which is kind of funny as it really can't. Always remember, two of the worst scum as far as occupations go, are journalists and lawyers all journalists except ground reporters are scum and all lawyers higher than the district level are scum. As far as politicians go, you already know the truth.
