Legends of The Hidden Temple

I loved how 90s were able to sustain myths and mysteries. There were television documentaries, shows like Mummies Alive and Carmen Sandiego and so many others that made us feel that there is a lot to explore in on Earth and the universe. Now we have satellites and cameras everywhere and that sense of mystery has vanished from most people's minds. What is Lara Croft going to do when you can zoom in on the possibly the remotest area through Google Maps and Google Earth. The 90s media did one thing and in the most exciting and authentic manner, that was to sustain mystery and mythicality about the world, the earth and the universe. Remember when Mummies used to be a thing on TV. You remember the movie The Mummy and how good it was? During those times, if someone had told me that the world after I became an adult would be a stratified dystopian totalitarian hellhole, I wouldn't have believed it and yet here we are, living it in real-time. Old cultures are overanalysed now in the media and with a narcissistic and egoistic lens and media is filled with those analyses. The correct way of analysis is however not with ego or narcissism but either with uninvolved purely scientific analysis or with empathy. These totalitarian motherfuckers are rewriting history in broad daylight and you are watching them do it, in real-time. Anyone who has lived in the 90s knows that living has nuances that possibly can't be analysed or explained. The feelings we had while living in the 90s can't really be explained exactly, and when you look at grandparents you realise that their lives were even more vast, detailed and entrenched in traditions in a way that the people living in modern times can't even imagine, imagine the lives of people even before them. As a far as India goes, the individuals who run this country are only interested in rape and exploitation and this is my lived experience of the past decade. They are actually intellectually bankrupt and incompetent which was hard to believe for me earlier but I have gotten so many evidences that I think I have to believe it. Existence for common people now anyway is living in individualised and customised prisons disconnected from each other, and it is because miscommunication and division is what actually keeps the wheel of politics moving. We are slaves and life is a game. It's all not as serious. Though it is serious for us.
